Robotic Welding Trainer

Reporting to Operations Manager, the Robotic Welding Trainer acts as a Training and technical resource to our end users.  Beyond the training session, he/she is preparing, scheduling, and following up on training sessions, as well as offering technical support.  The ideal candidate is highly rigorous and methodical.  He/She is comfortable working in both office and shop environments, providing high quality training to our end users.  A welding background is preferred but pedagogical skills are top priority.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Schedule, organize, coordinate training sessions
• Provide on-site training and technical assistance to customers
• Perform remote technical assistance & troubleshooting
• Provide training on the following topics:
  • Fanuc robot operation
  • BeamMaster System operation
  • Welding process training

Skills & Qualifications:

• High sense of organization
• Professionalism
• Ability to coach and train others
• Strong interests in robotics and automation
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite and offline programming software)
• Willingness to travel and work at customer facilities (33-50% of the time)

Additional skills:

• Welding background
• Fluent in Spanish

Conditions:

• 40 hours per week
• Salary based on experience
